My Two Diary Entries

Saturday  17th September 2016

Today when I woke up I went into the lounge and sat beside the heater to get warm.When I was warm I went to the toilet then back to bed.But in bed I didn’t sleep in bed I went on my tablet and went on youtube, I talked to my friends Charlize and Skylar on hangouts then Sky said “have you watched Aphmau’s new video yet?” I replied “no not yet” “Ok” said Skylar. I watched like over 50 videos for 5 hours then it was 1.00 pm so I had lunch. For lunch I had ice cream yummy.”Maia Maia get out you, lazy girl” said Mum “Ok fine”I replied in a boring and lazy tone.We went to work and I got on my Cafe T-shirt and put on an apron and I was ready so I raced through the kitchen and got my cloth and table spray and cleaned the tables until I could see myself in them.

Sunday 18th September 2016

On Sunday I woke up and had breakfast took a shower and went to see what new videos were posted on youtube. I watched some videos then went down the back to go for a ride on Possum. Me and Adi went for a ride in the apple orchard. We went up and down the long lasting rows it was a very nice day for a ride. At first Possum was a little excited and I had to hold him back.But through the ride though he finally calmed down. Mum joined us afterwards when she got home from work she walked alongside us. It was lovely

Cross Country Refection

• I liked the nice sunny weather that we had for Cross Country.

• Next time I would try and get a better start and run a bit faster down the chute.

• I trained a lot at school on the field and at frimley park I also trained at home in the dressage arena.

• I didn’t enjoy my starting, and the just sitting around all day but I did enjoy, the good placing I got.

• I learn’t that it doesn't matter what placing you get as long as you run.

Cross Country report

Finally it was time to start, Mr Marple said some words on the mic, then passed it to Mr White he said some things too. The track was a little tricky but easy to remember. When it’s my turn I will start by the path round by the trees, then start get a good placing. Then the corner would loom in, I would follow the cones that were placed all round the track then, round by the houses, down the chute and I would be done.

When my race was called I felt the hairs stand up on the back of my head and the butterflies in my tummy.I stepped up to the starting line the clappers went SLAP BANG! Everything went in slow motion I was left behind at the very back, I had to work my way up.  I had finally got up the front at the end of the race, I raced down the chute everyone cheering me on I came second that day.

When I crossed the finish line I was tired, and just wanted to fall asleep. But luckily I didn’t because I was brainwashed by the crowd, it was so loud. I saw Charlize behind me she came 8th and my best friend Skylar came 11th. It was amazing I stood up on the podium and didn’t smile. I forgot to smile. Then it was time to go back to school and do some more learning. After that we would pack up for the day and go home. My Mum and Dad were so proud of me.
