Optimist yachting recap
The Flying Optimist Yacht
Stuck, like roadkill smeared onto the dry ground.
Mr Fitzsimons kanoed over to us, Swarleen and I fighting to move at least a few cms, There was an melancholy chill in the air as we sat there.
“Need help girls?” Luke echoed.
“Yes, indeed we do” one of us replied. His hand gripped our boat, then told me to point the yacht at a grove of trees, we zig-zagged along untill until we caught some wind, we were off!
Flying like an destined hawk, catching his prey.
I glanced over at Swarleen, words vomited out of my mouth, “we are catching the wind!” I cried.
Luke explained that we should turn around, and point at the new changing rooms, so I did, Swarleen let out the sail, but just a little bit and this time we were racing like a rocket!
We were almost at the next boi, about to turn around. Miss B whizzed past, “looking good girls!” she yelled over at us. We smiled in celebration.
“Prepare to turn!” With sail set, I moved the tilar with a quick sweep of my hand, and we did a neat donut turn, water swishing beside us.
Sailing along I thought, wow, the sun is shining so bright today- A shirl double whistle interrupted my thoughts, and we prepared to begin heading back to the stony shore.

A chunk of my life story
Ka hinga te mirona Ki te riro i te kaieke nui
It takes an millon falls to become a great rider.
Just recently, I started to ride and school my bigger pony : Princess, though I will still be completing my smaller pony : Fern.
My goal for the rest of the year is: to improve in mymaths, in which I will do by trying to focus more, and work faster.
I slid down a dark waterslide into planet earth, even though to me, I should have been an alien. My date of birth is 7/9/007
It all started in the hastings hospital, maternity ward.
My mother gave me the worst name possible: Maia
All the while I grew up in a country landscape, surrounded by horses and welsh ponies, in which me and my older sister rode.
We also have a super duper long driveway, It was flooded with apple trees on the sides, and potholes everywhere else.
Marakakauo seemed so familiar, but camberley kindergarten, was where I went, in order for my parents to work peacefully without looking after me.
I had many friends at that kindergarten, and two of them went to my school, although only one remains, the one that left had the name of shian, in time, she began to become mean, and left school, so we parted our ways, in kindergarten, I remember always playing different kinds of instruments, learning to write my name, and also dancing to ABBA music.
But.. My favourite thing to do was doing all of the adults hair, sometimes me and an couple other kids even built a tower, or put together a giant puzzle.
Something that is very special to me is my picture of me and my pony that I learned to ride on, named Lacewood, she was black, with four white socks, and an white blaze, on top of it is her purple browband, it has her name on it, in gold,
And beside that, is a piece of her shaggy mane, tied up in an rubber band, I lost her 2 years ago, in 2016, it is now 2018.
Another thing that is quite important to me is, my history research and my learning, because it all links up to my plan for the future, I will study, study, study, and get into an good uni, once I have finished high school, of cource cource. I will take sinice science, and spacecraft studies, when I get my degree, (if I pass my exams, whitch which I am hoping to do.) I will hopefully become an astronort astronaut.
On my very first day of school, I was very excited, and got an photo of me taken in front of our coral pink rose bush, I was armed with my bag on my shoulders, and wearing my navy blue, and maroon red uniform, although it was not very successful, and at lunch time, I was sitting with some seniors, when I suddenly peed my pants!
It went everywhere! At once one of the seniors dashed to an duty teacher near by, and from there she took me to the school nurse, her name was nurse Wendy, once I had been fixed up, the bell had rang, and I went back to class, my teachers name was: Mrs Bartlet,
And she had left a few years after I an teacher named Miss Caswell, she was nice, next, I had an teacher named Miss turefry, She was the art deco queen!
Once I was in year 3, I had a young teacher named Miss hudson, she did lots of cooking with us, I finally reached year 4, and in that year my teachers name was, Mrs Roach.
At the end of year four, I looked at my notice for my new teacher, and she was named Miss Bartlett, I thought it funny, because that was a similar name to my first teachers!
I am doing the best that I can do in school, and enjoy reading books, making animations with gacha studio, and watching olympic dressage tests on youtube.
In year 4, I started to take singing lessons, I ride ponies, and at the 2018 HOY, got 3rd, competing against teens.

Writting process
Colours began to contrast everywhere!
“Spicificly Specifically, 2/6 of the people here are holiday.
Thirsty tourists tourists, including us, am I right? Or am I right”
“Oh, stop being so smart Bloom,” comments India.
The road looked like an sunset, thought Ethel,
An smile forming across her
Pale face, covered with natural beauty.
Jace finally spoke up,
“Bloom is correct,” he confirmed.
“Oh, whatever! If she thinks she’s so
Smart, then maybe she’s too good to be a
Friend.” India explained confidently.
Meanwhile…. On the bus…
Many natives to the country were
Spreading the love, and celebrating the
Good over evil, from many , many , decades
Ago. Trudging along, the rusty, bus,
Soaked in colours, began to stop,
Thee once clear path, crowded over by
Millions of billions of natives
And tourists, trying to get an closer
Look..
“Splot!” Out of the blue, an great
Swirl of coral pink, blasted onto Ethel’s face, soon followed by a whole lot more in the in the area around them.
Everyone laughed , and the celebration-
Nal holiday was an great success, and everyone really enjoyed the festival as well.
